Dear Ms. Moore; My name is Karriem Shabazz. I am an American of African descent living and studying in the Holy Lands. I am writing to solicit your support for a project I think is very worthwhile. I have partner shipped with the local T.V. station here to present the history of the development of the Zionist State of Israel. It is the first comprehensive film to come from the Arab World documenting these events.
I have documented the events leading up to the most expensive debacle the United States has ever been involved in. The issues surrounding Philistine and the "Israeli Jews'" illegal attempts to steal the land from its rightful owners have far reaching implications. It has been a contributing cause of the WTC disaster as well as many other such disasters; both on American soil as well as around the world. The need for this film is that in violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution, Americans are being kept deaf, dumb and blind to the truth of America's foreign policy in the Holy Lands and the Arab world.
The title of my documentary is: The Struggle to Save al-Aqsa and the Holy Lands. This production is a prelude to regular monthly 30-minute programs I intend to produce for the silent American majority. The target population for my productions are the white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Catholic, non-Zionist Jew, registered voter, tax payer.
I have contacted you because you have strong contacts in the media. This is not the typical unbalanced and censored footage of Philistine the Zionist owned networks normally show. Therefore, because of its controversial nature and content it has been virtually impossible to get it on air. I need outlets in the United States, Europe and the world. All of my productions include professionally produced film footage of historical incidents that have and are happening here in the Holy Lands.
My purpose for producing this film is to stop the killing of Philistinian youth. I believe that when America, and the world see this film and its riveting narration that it will activate the hearts of the American people and they will be moved to action. They will contact their political representatives in Washington and tell him to bring this situation to an end by forcing the Zionists to the peace table in earnest; or face decreased appropriations from the $7 billion annually that is sent to this region by American tax payers to kill young rock throwing boys and innocent school girls. Statistics show that there were 350 children killed by Israeli soldiers; and the majority of these children were either going to or coming from school.
Please give me permission to send the film to you. I believe that once you view it you will learn historical facts that were not well organized and unclear. I need your mailing address and a phone number. Intend to send it by express mail. I can be reached at i-w-v@scs-net.org,.
With kindest regards,
Karriem Shabazz, President IWV, Ltd.

Dear Mary,
I was recently in Minneapolis to meet my bone marrow donor. I was there Oct 11-13. She lives in nearby Superior, Wisconsin. I was diagnosed with AML (Leukemia) on May 20,2000, and thanks to my donor, Pat, I am doing wonderfully 2-1/2 years later! I will be back there in April. Needless to say, we HAD to visit the Mary Tyler Moore statue! I have always admired you. I have a picture if you ever want to see it!!!! Good luck in everything you do, Mary. And thank you for inspiring so many people.

DEAR, MARRY, My name is Jim Glazier, from 4308 42 AVE. #20 Rock MTN.. House Alberta, Canada . And I need the help of someone with great influence over people and the resources to convince people they can protect there property. I am not trying to get a hand out, but perhaps some kind of business venture where we both can make money. I have been interested in vehicle security since 1997. I get sick when I hear of peoples property stolen , damaged , and even lives lost from such a preventable problem as car theft. I have looked at many vehicle security devices and there weakness, and endeavored to build a device that is easy to install and also user friendly, and very difficult to remove. I have built prototypes, and have used one on my vehicle for three years even in big cities, and always felt comfortable that my car would always be there where I parked it. I also installed one on an old truck in an auto wreaker and it took three big men 4min. 56 seconds to remove it, only by braking the floorboard because of too ridged a base. This has since been redesigned to be flexible. It was encouraging to see one person could not remove it. It is loose enough installed, that it cannot be cut with a hacksaw, since it is made with good strong steel. The lock cannot be frozen because it is incased with steel and a small air space. These men ! tried with hammers and feet to remove it and only exhausted themselves. Since joy rides and theft of vehicles for the purpose of committing a crime are the main reasons for general auto theft, I know this will be a very good and secure type of vehicle theft deterrent. I have a U.S. patent and applied for an international patent with the help of a company in Ireland, who have done up for me a confidential research report, on North America, and Europe and are at this time trying to find manufactures all around the world that would be interested in building this device that I call "Brake Lock. There is some simple electronics that serve as a trade mark, as well as takes care of the brake light problem. I recently have had interest from England and Illinois and hope to get a positive response from them. Auto theft is a huge problem everywhere. I know it will make a difference. But it will only make a difference if people will use it. If I could give you more information that might convince you, perhaps you may be interested in being a part of this venture. .P lease, if you want more information or have questions please get in touch with me at my E-Mail address ( cadillacjim @msn.com) Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you . I think all the work you do to raise awareness of juvenile diabetes is fantastic. I've had juvenile diabetes for 15 years and although I've learned to live with it, I hope and pray everyday for greater advancements in the treatment of this disease. I can say as someone who lived through it that growing up as a child with juvenile diabetes is very difficult. I was always afraid to tell someone if my blood sugar felt low or I had any other problem because I didn't want my friends and classmates to think that there was something wrong with me. It also made it difficult for me to stay over friends houses as a child and go camping and on weekend trips with my friends like most young kids do. Unfortunately back then I didn't realize the serious complications that could arise from not taking care of myself so I didn't always place my health first. Now that have reached adult hood and I am beginning to experience some of those things, I wish I had taken better care of myself. But unfortunately as a teenager and a child all you want to do is to be like everyone else and do all the things that your friends are all doing. You can't always do all those things when your a diabetic. Now I try to take care of myself as much as possible. Luckily I live in a time and place were with proper care you can still lead a healthy and productive life even with diabetes. It would be great if sometime in the near future they could come up with a cure this way younger generations afflicted with diabetes could continue to live healthy, long and normal lives without having to learn about the complications diabetes could cause the hard way like I did.
P.S. I'm a huge Mary Tyler Moore show fan. I watch it all the time on Nick at Night. Keep up the great work. Your fantastic.

Unfortunately she is requesting Premarin again after trying an alternative for a year - inspite of the animal cruelty issues. Thank you.

Dear Ms. Moore,
I am trying to assist a friend whose health has been devastated by juvenile diabetes. He is on dialysis now and uses an insulin pump. He lost his left eye about a year ago from diabetic complications. Can you help me help him? He is only 43 years old and has a wife and daughter. He is not on any lists for a kidney because of his diabetes. Are there any research centers that would be interested in someone in this condition. I know there is a lot being done with precusor cells to rebuild organs. Is this happening yet? Your response would be deeply appreciated.
Warmest regards,

We are three 17 year-old boys from Germany and we must say that you are a great actress. We really like the Mary-Tyler-Moore-Show which is the best sitcom that's ever been shown on TV.
Especially we like the flares you wore during the show. Some days ago we watched a movie having you and Ed Asner in it. Great film, we can tell you.
We'd really love to receive a reply.

My name is Debra. My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer six years ago. The impact that diagnosis has had on me was rather profound. I found myself suddenly thrown into the world of cancer and was faced with the possibility of loosing my mother. My mothers condition not only affected me but also everyone whose life she touched. It prompted me to begin thinking of many things Id never considered before. I became aware of what a devastating disease Breast Cancer is and how it overwhelms you with a sense of vulnerability. As much as anything else, I was frustrated by my inability to do much to help my mother despite my strong desire to do so.
Ever since my mothers diagnosis, Ive been searching for a way to make a difference and do something to help in the fight against Breast Cancer. I intended to try to do something to help raise money for research and something that would allow the families of those persons struck with Breast Cancer to contribute as well.
Since I started considering doing this project with my mother in mind, I just tried to think of her most defining characteristic or trait. Shes known for her southern style cooking. Ive never met anyone who didnt think her pecan pie or fried chicken was the best theyve ever tasted. It just seemed logical to pursue a cookbook idea incorporating my mothers southern cooking recipes. After talking with many family members and other survivors of Breast Cancer Ive developed a different twist to the original cookbook idea. Rather than having the cookbook consist solely of my mothers recipes, I thought why not get favorite recipes submitted by people whose lives have been touched in some way by Breast Cancer. This could include daughters, sons, husbands, grandchidren, uncles aunts, friends, neighbors or just about anyone. Those contributors could submit a recipie for possible inclusion in the cookbook along with a dedication for the individual who has, had, or died from Breast Cancer. This way the contributors could help by assisting in compiling some great recipies that would go into a cookbook where a portion of the proceeds are to be donated for Breast Cancer Research and the contributors of recipies could show their love and support for their family member or friend who is either battling Breast Cancer or who has survived Breast Cancer or they can memorialize those who have been lost to the disease.
Obviously all recipies submitted cant be included in the first cookbook. For those that are not included, there will be a section in the book which will contain the dedications sent in with the recipies that werent selected, or they will be added to the next edition. I thought one of the best places to contact such people would be the internet. If you would like to participate, please send me an e-mail. I will then describe the format. My email address is: demer10@aol.com Sincerely,
Debra

Dear Mary,
I am writing to you because you care and get involved in great causes. Like me, you are an animal rights activist and are trying to educate people in earth awareness.
I have desperately been trying to help owners save the animals at The Chimp Farm, located in Fl. They have 4 months to complete "Project rebuild" or these animals will be destroyed. http://www.chimpfarm.org/
I am doing all I know within my powers to get anyone, someone to listen. Have written to Oprah Winfrey, Gorilla Org., Bridget Bardo, The Gorilla Foundation, CNN, and a list of others. Not one person has replied. I am trying to spread the word. The Chimp Farm needs help! We are trying to save the lives of 2 Gorilla's and 17 Chimps! Please Care! Please Help!
